Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
The Bachelor of Information Technology seeks to develop high quality human resources for the public and private sectors so as to maximize the utility of information in organizations.
Course Overview
Specifically, the program seeks to produce graduates who will be able to:
- Exploit the entrepreneurial aspects of information in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the organizations
- Collect, process, store, retrieve and make available information necessary for the business growth of the organization so as to improve its utility and effectiveness in organizations.

- Improve the professional standards and status of the disciplines in the information sciences.
A candidate will be eligible for admission if he/she fulfills the minimum admission requirement set forth by AZU and the Ministry of Higher Education of South Sudan for the year and shows passion for learning to take advantage of the academic opportunities at AZU. Students will be admitted to the Bachelor of Information Technology degree program through three avenues: Direct Entry, Mature Entry and Diploma Entry Schemes.

Direct Entry
A candidate must be admitted in the first-degree program if he/she has obtained a pass in the South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education or an equivalent.
Diploma Entry
Candidates must be holders of a relevant diploma in the desired field of study from an accredited institution of higher learning. At least one principal and two subsidiaries passes at the same sitting in UACE or its equivalent
Mature Age Entry Scheme
Candidates for this category must be South Sudanese by nationality and have had formal education.
