UPGRADING DIPLOMA TO BACHELOR DEGREE
An intermediate Diploma of not less than 2 years shall be eligible for up-grading. The Secondary School Certificate and the Diploma determined the qualification of the candidate to a Degree Program at the University. A Diploma Holder with Distinction shall not require work experience for up-grading, whereas those with Credit, Good and Pass shall require work experience in that particular field of study of not less than 2, 3 and 4 years respectively. The final cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for graduating student shall be calculated from course taken before (Intermediate Diploma) 40% and those taken after up-grading 60% (3rd year admission). Course attended for upgrading shall constitute 85% of the overall points and 15% for the diploma courses already taken (2nd year admission).
